Ingredients:
2 chicory cob,
1 small leek (light part),
1 small pickled cucumber,
2 tablespoons of soybean oil,
salt, sugar.
Preparation:
Carve stumb out of chicory (with the tip of a knife). Cut the chicory into slices. Wash, pickle and cut into small cubes. Mix chicory with leek and pickled cucumber, season with soybean oil, salt and sugar.
Chicory is a vegetable belonging to the family of biennial salad plants. It forms elongated white- yellow heads with characteristic refreshing bitter taste. We can make raw salads from it, and also tastes great on hot.
